Meadowbank Residence 3-Bed

Location was excellent a lovely walk past Arthur's seat into town. Beautiful big apartment and there were 5 adults staying there. Very clean and well equipped.

Shame you couldn't get in until 4pm , most are 2pm. Especially as you have to be out at 10am.

It was lovely and spacious and perfect for what we needed

There was a smell of dampness in the bathroom by the kitchen. When the window was open, the smell went again.

Great location, gorgeous apartment and spacious for a town house / apartment. Really happy and would genuinely recommend and stay again

The internet was not working and took 4 hours of calls to find some help, eventually we were directed to use a different router which was who knows where. The TV worked only if we put the new password in every time we switched on which was a pain. The beds were noisy and uncomfortable and crammed into the rooms with little space to move around them. There were old out of date items in cupboards left by previous visitors. There was no welcome items at all and no information pack with any guidance to local area or facilities. The towels were cheap, thin and too small. We paid almost 1k for 2 nights and felt it should have been much better. The owners send emails hoping you are having an “amazing” time and tell you to contact them if there are any problems, in reality they do not answer the number they provide. Overall disappointing and would not return

Spacious, well equipped and very clean. Location for Holyrood Park and parkrun was why we chose this apt. Also within walking distance of Portobello beach.

Beds were a bit too soft and a little bit squeaky. Only 1 pot and 3 pot lids on arrival but that was very quickly resolved with delivery of additional pots.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect for families, with a yard outside for kids to play. location is 10/10 constant buses just a short distance and felt very safe when walking back in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped.

We liked the modern aspect of the accommodation and how well it was equipped and presented. Host was easy to contact regards a boiler issue.

We required help to get the boiler working but even after that, remained uncomfortable regards an error code. The flat took hours to begin to heat up. There was no hot water, shower cold. Beds not very comfortable and the single bedroom had no window and felt like a cupboard. Hot showers and a good night’s sleep makes for a good stay. Communication was good though we did not feel it necessary to be reminded of checking out on the morning of our day before departure. Felt like our stay was being cut short.

Location was great for us as attending event at Meadowbank Sports centre

Mattress on bed in room nearest front door, needs replaced felt springs & rolled into middle of bed, 2nd double room was a little better as mattress topper had been fitted, Heating thermostat has been updated since video was done, so wasn't on wall as stated. kitchen table legs wobble, Gas fire didn't work , reported to support team. one of ovens didn't work.

We were a group of 5 but there was only 4 decent cups (required decent set of six mugs) Mattresses on all beds were not comfortable. You could feel the springs (require more comfortable ones) Cleaning equipment not stored away out of sight
