CASA JIMENEZ - Close to town with Shared bathroom

Room was comfy and clean. Host was great with communication.

Smoke alarm went off 3 times was I was trying to sleep. Luckily someone downstairs was turning it off quite quickly.

Close to where I needed to be at the Sports Village but still only a 20 min walk to city centre

The property was a 20 minute walk to the mermaid quay/ millennium theatre. Ok parking around the back of the building. (Go down Kent road and then turn left and drive to the end of the road for parking.) The owner was lovely on arrival and had very good communication throughout our arrival. The shared bathroom was a good size. The shower was nice. The bedroom was relatively clean. I liked the bedding. The mattress was ok. Nice touch of biscuits and tea and coffee/ latte sachets on the trolley. The area was relatively quiet (except at 1:15am when someone decided to have a full on firework display 😅)

The bed was WAY too small for a couple.... It's certainly not a full double. I'd say it's a junior double. Slightly bigger than a single bed. If you are a single person or a very slim couple you should be fine. The bath was a bit dusty. The kettle didn't reach the plug socket from the trolley so it had to be placed on the floor to be used. There was a plug extension lead behind the bed, but it was too short for a regular phone charger plug and wire to reach the opposite side of the bed / bedside table. I'd recommend getting a slightly longer extension lead.

Enjoyed the stay, very easy to check in, no fuss at all. The room was clean and the bedding was so comfy too !! We were left some complimentary items which was lovely too. Provided towels as well, it was actually nice and was not bothered by anyone

I think I would have liked a mini fridge or had some amenities for water in the room. Such as bottle water or even in fridge or etc.

Host was lovely, gorgeous and very helpful with any and all requests and issues. Bedroom was comfy and clean, very well suited for my needs

Everything as advertised: basic but clean and tidy, convenient self check-in. Not too far from the city centre, big grocery shops in walking distance. Overall, good value for money.

The double bed could have been a bit wider, there was not much space for two people.

Well positioned for accessing the town centre. The facilities were clean, well presented and the bed very comfortable.
