"Not a flat"

The location was good, with free on street parking available and within a half hour walk of both the city centre and Cardiff Bay. The little snacks and bottle of water that the host left in were a lovely touch too.

The advert for this booking refers to it as a flat. It's not a flat, but a small room on the top floor of a terraced house. The bathroom is for the whole house and on a different floor, though luckily we didn't encounter anyone else during our stay. Our bed was wet when we arrived. Not the top sheet and duvet but the mattress (so I assume the host knew about this when making it up?). We spent half an hour blow drying it before we could sleep. There was something dodgy with the electrics too... Whilst the plug sockets worked, the lights didn't during our stay. Expected a little more from the photos and the pricing. Had a great weekend away but I don't think I'd book here again.

great location with a reasonable walk to central Cardiff, local pub only a short walk that was friendly and had good beer, flat host welcoming and helpful, (thank you for the donuts) .free parking on nearby street, surprisingly quiet even though on a major road. bathroom facilities good including a lovely hot shower.

The location is ideal, perfect walking distance in to the City center. The room is quaint, clean and has amenities provided for free! It was an easy choice, especially for a short visit.

The room was perfect for me, clean and tidy and a great location. Only a 30 min walk from both the city centre and the bay, plus access to buses too. Supermarket just down the road, a pretty quiet area as well. Bed was very comfy.

Nothing stands out to me really, I can't really fault the room or the bathroom. As they were clean, no nothing really.
