Completely let down upon arrival, owner would not respond to let us have access on arrival

Upon my arrival at the property I was left waiting for an hour, couldn't get into the keybox and when I did the pin was completely different and the key wasn't even there. Additionally, there was a puddle and dirty towel left in the downstairs bathroom and there was mould in the bathroom and spiders everywhere! I would have been able to overlook this and not say anything and I have not been refunded my £500 damage deposit. And I know for a fact no damages were left. Booking.com were not able to help and I have queried this with my bank and they have informed me that the person in charge of the property whom I paid my deposit to is a scam!! This explains why they have not been answering my calls and emails. Not sure if this person is still in charge of the property but just in case, do not book this place!

All the bed rooms are very good and comfortable

The property was not available in time has to be wait for 2 hours to get in TV was not working Kitchen is very old and not enough appliances Back garden was full of grass and it’s not trimmed There was no bins in the toilet and no bags in the kitchen

The property was huge with countless beds, it was the biggest and most accommodating home we could find in Leicester, the property hosts are nice friendly and helpful, they assisted with a later check out at our train was later then the check out time.

The property did not have ashtrays in the smoking area.
