Cosy authentic flat in the heart of Galashiels

Location of the flat is very good. Bathroom is good size.

Flat is on second floor and access is by stairs only. So quite inconvenience if you have luggage !! Heating system is just average. Hot water system is very bad !!

It was indeed cosy once the flat had warmed up in the living room. Could not get any heat out if the storage heater in the kitchen but the extra plug in heater was ok. The bedroom was harder to heat as the curtains made all the heat go towards the window and not the room. Also had to switch the storage heater off through the night as it was noisy when it kicked in at temperature drop.

See above. The front door key lock was tricto see as we arrived late in the dark and it was horrendous weather so, not hosts fault but a small light would of been useful as hands were full and luggage could not be put down to free up a hand. Between us tho we managed .

Excellent location. A lovely cosy wee flat right in the heart of the town. The flat had everything you need.

El apartamento es coqueto, aunque hay que tener cuidado al caminar porque es suelo es irregular.

El callejón donde se ubica. El portal y las escaleras. Muy, muy cutre.

Cosy and comfortable flat in a great location for us visiting family in the area. Lovely and clean, with everything you might need.

The only thing to be aware of is the stairs up to the flat, which is on the second floor. Some people with mobility issues may struggle.

Central location Well equipped flat with good cooking facilities TV with range of streaming available Bedroom ar rear of flat so very quiet Entrance to flat at back of building - fine so long as you know it is there! Excellent instructions from the hosts Range of pubs and restaurants nearby Handy for bus and train stations

No free parking except in evening (but that's unavoidable as it is central Galashiels)

We enjoyed that the location of the property was in the middle of town and very accessible to everything we wanted to do in the area. Nice little Stop over property.

The Bed was a queen size which I understand is due to the size of the Bedroom but I feel there was enough room for a King size bed just incase for larger guests of the property. And I think the Priority needs a top up as there was two crack lines on the left hand side of the bedroom wall so a paint top-up wouldn't go wrong. And the Stairs could do with a Bannister. But would use again.
