Comfortable 2 bedroom house in historic Exeter

It was clean and had everything we needed. Parking. Walking distance into the city centre.

It was a fabulous house to stay in. A complete home from home, everything had been considered. A perfect stay thankyou.

It was a good location for our requirements over the weekend. Good to have 2x double bedrooms. Good to have off-road parking. Clean.

No internal doors anywhere, shutters far too fragile. Bathroom shutter didn't close fully or open fully, for 3 out of 4 days of our stay, randomly started working properly as we were preparing to leave. Thermostat but no radiators, only a couple of wall heaters and a plug in radiator, very random. Luckily wasn't too cold, however can't imagine they would provide much heat to the house if required. Towels provided, yet none matched and a lot were bleach stained. Broken clothes airer in the kitchen, didn't use through fear of it braking even more. No kitchen bins, only very small open top bins on counter top, one for general waste, one for recycling, not very hygenic, especially if a warm day with back door open, bins will attract flies. Main bedroom had badly installed wallpaper, partly looked like it was coming off as no headboard on bed so sitting up in bed meant leaning directly on wallpaper which will eventually rip it off. Mould around windows, should have been cleaned up. Garden had a lot of very large weeds, wasn't very presentable. Not sure if owners live there normally and just rent it out as and when, because there were a lot of personaly items with sticky notes taped everywhere for guests not to use/touch. For the price being charged, the whole place needs a lot of TLC, could pay the same amount to stay in a hotel with far nicer facilities and attention to detail. Was good enough, however wouldn't have liked to have stayed any longer and unfortunately won't stay again.

Quiet neighbourhood and a pleasant walk to the city centre. Clean, simple and comfortable.

Was tricky to find using the directions. There was a fault with the toilet flush which the owner dealt with quickly - great communication.
