Charming Lincoln Cottage Family & Pet-Friendly

Liked the area it was in, place was clean and tidy, with plenty of tea and coffee, both living room and living area rear of kitchen was nice, preferred the rear one to sit in and watch tv, was nice and cosy, shower and toilet was very clean, overall was very good.

bed we slept in was a bit soft for us, and the quilt seemed to have a life of its own, next door was a bit noisy on the friday night.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable. The beds were good, the linen was clean and fresh. The rooms were all good sizes. Choice of 2 sitting rooms, we chose the annex to fit us all in, it was also the warmer one. Great location. Good supply of tea and coffee.

Not a problem for us but the stairs were steep to the attic room. The car park has a very tight entrance but the parking area is spacious and it is clear where to park.

Location was great - very close to centre of the city. Good space in a deceptively tight footprint. Car park space appreciated although tight to enter and exit. Effective showers in good sized bathrooms - 2

The single bed needs replacing and curtains let the light in particularly in the front bedrooms- zebra crossing outside the property.You may wish to pack an eye mask! Coffee machine great but limited pods of black coffee.

Excellent location and communication, full of charm and character and immaculately clean . Lots of extra special touches throughout. Even a clean comfy bed for our little dog was provided

Nothing at all

It was even nicer than the photos- a very cute and cosy cottage, with a perfect location two minutes from Bailgate.

The place was very cosy. Very well equipped with coffee machine, well stocked with variety of coffee, tea and even lotus biscuits to go with the coffee. Sufficient toilet rolls (we didn't need to buy extra) and shower gel and liquid hand soap. Bed and sheets was very clean and comfy. The bedroom on the top floor has sky light window that you can open and very refreshing to have nice cool air coming in the bedroom. Two bedrooms on the first floor, very comfy too. Sun comes in through the window makes the room bright and cheery Kitchen has dishwasher and dishwasher detergent is provided. I appreciated that all the kitchen equipment are very very clean and all in working order. I didn't need to call the owners for any malfunction equipment because everything worked great.

Entrance to the car park is very tight and the road coming in can be quite tight at night when all the residents are home as there is a lot of cars parked by the side of the road which makes it difficult to turn in to the lane or when going out. In the day time it's not so bad as the lane is not so packed with cars. Once you get in through the entrance, there's a big space to turn the car around as the whole space belongs to the unit. The stairs in the unit is very narrow and a bit steep. Typical of English old cottages. A bit difficult if you have a lot of luggage.

Location and facilities. Parking was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped. Character of the cottage was lovely. Warm, cosy and comfy throughout.

Some hairs in the bathroom, but otherwise very clean.
