"Good for a weekend stay"

The host was fantastic, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Location was good and a 5-10 min walk from the theatre once you know the route. Fan provided was good and quiet, mini fridge we could use was a nice touch with water and fresh milk.

There were tiny spots of black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. And a lot of dust in obvious spots around the room such as the table. The stay was still lovely and we'd still visit again, just the cleanliness took away from the experience a little. I'll stress though the bedding was immaculate, no issues there.

"Hampton Lodge - A great little hotel!"

The hotel was easy to find, and very close to the town centre and theatre. The host was friendly and even though we arrived early, we were able to check in and get our keys and leave the car in the FREE car park whilst we went exploring. The room was large, clean and the beds very comfortable. The fridge was a great touch, with filtered water and fresh milk waiting for us, none of this UHT rubbish. On our departure, we could still take advantage of the free car park, which on a Bank Holiday Monday was great!

The shower was a little small, but it was clean, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Would it stop me from. Booking this hotel again? Not in the slightest. The next time I plan on going to Stratford, I will be checking the availability of Hampton Lodge first!

The location was ideal. A short walk to city highlights, services and food, and drink. Owner very aware of travellers needs. The room was clean, new and comfortable.

The one set of stairs was a small problem, but the owner assisted we oldies, with getting our luggage up.
