The hospitality and friendliness of Margaret and Charlie were top notch. They really made us feel at home. We loved our chats, their useful park recommendations and the facilities. We'd happily visit again and we were sad to leave.

We had a wonderful stay ☺️. The location was great as a base for visiting Yosemite, around 1 hour by car from the entrance of the park. Margaret and Charlie were exceptional hosts who made us feel right at home. Their warm welcome and helpful tips on what to see in Yosemite made our visit even more enjoyable. The room and bathroom were spotless, clean and spacious. The bed especially was super comfortable after a long day of hiking. Having traveled much around the world, this stay offered some of the best value and hospitality we’ve ever experienced. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the Yosemite area!

Margaret and Charlie are amazing hosts. As former park rangers, it was great to get their advice on hikes and viewpoints - this was my 4th trip to Yosemite, and their advice made it the best trip yet. They are also always up for a friendly chat, were incredibly gracious with their time, and very easy to communicate with leading up to our stay. I would definitely stay with them next time I visit Yosemite! The accommodation itself was exactly as advertised.

The location was idyllic. While close to Yosemite, the location was extremely quiet. We loved the setting. Staying with Margaret and Charlie was like staying with family. We had many pleasant conversations and they were very knowledgeable about the park. I’d rate them an 11!

House was very easy to find and the location is exceptional. Morning views with sunrise amazing. Room was super clean, and the owners gave me many tips about California and my next stops. They also recomended restaurants nearby. The breakfast was nice too with homemade sourdough bread. Felt like home also with the other guests.
