Morning Star Vista near Yosemite - countryside with mountain views

A little more of a drive from Yosemite than optimal, but in a serene, lovely area.

The hosting couple is super nice, friendly and helpful! The freshly baked bread in the morning is German-approved😁

The walls are very thin. Prepare to be woken up around 6:30 a.m. every morning from talking and preparing breakfast in the kitchen.

Our stay at Morning Star Vista was impressive. Margaret & Charlie are fantastic hosts (as well as Zeke, their beautiful dog); they made us feel as we were at home. They were so attentive and kind with us. They were also very helpful giving us tips about our stay at Yosemite. The house is nice with beautiful views. The rooms are spacious and clean as well as the toilet. The common areas which we shared with other guests such as the living room and the kitchen were also big and comfy. Yosemite is 50 minutes/1 hour from the house. The breakfast offered was great to start the day with energy. We will definitely come back some day.

The hospitality and good communitation! Margaret & Charlie are great people with huge knowlege about the Yosemite. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed the heathy breakfast (finally!). Thank you so much :-)

A little far from Yosemite National Park but it is a beautiful drive along the river.

Margaret and Charlie are very kind, they welcomed us and give us lots of suggestions on how to visit Yosemite as well as sf. The position is wonderful, 15 min away from a small town, 1 hour away from two gates of Yosemite. In the morning you can see the valley under the sunshine from the yard. The room and restroom are clean and cozy. Combined with the price, it is the place that I'll definitely recommend to anyone if they want to visit Yosemite.
