Very welcoming host, making breakfast, good location to the park. Prepare and come with groceries and full tank as it is quite remote so that you don't spend too much time going to the town and have more time left for Yosemite.

"A True Experience of Home near Yosemite"

We had a wonderful experience. The property is located on a small hill in the vicinity of Mariposa, with views over the mountains, everything is new, and the hosts are great - they are very knowledgeable about Yosemite and the broader area, made a small home-made breakfast for us every morning, and with interesting conversations and caring attitude they created a true experience of home. There is a friendly dog, and a nice path next to the property to take a walk. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place with amazing views. We had a large room with bathroom all new and perfectly clean, very comfortable bed with a large window and an extraordinary view of the sunrise. Margaret & Charlie are truly amazing hosts; they are so attentive, friendly, and are extremely knowledgeable about Yosemite and the entire national parks system. We enjoyed the diverse conversations with them and they had excellent suggestions for our visit to the park and travel in California and beyond. We will definitely come back!
There is nothing we didnt like about the property.

"What a sunrise..."

The structure has been very recently renovated. Everything was new and very clean. The sunrise from our bedroom window was spectacular. The hosts are super and as they worked at the Yosemite Park provided extra information to visit and really enjoy the park.

Beautiful house with stunning views. Well located near Yosemite, and Mariposa town is lovely, just a short drive away with a nice variety of restaurants. Margaret and Charlie were absolutely lovely and so accommodating, and had a wealth of knowledge of the parks and the local area! They communicated throughout via WhatsApp which was very helpful and reassuring. Could not recommend this place more!

Fantastic, well appointed property an hour from Yosemite. Super comfortable bed. Knowledgable and friendly hosts who made me feel incredibly welcome. Wonderful view as you set off in the mornings. A real gem of somewhere to stay!
