Spanish Town / Downtown Apartment

Location unbeatable. Free private parking spot was convenient & well appreciated. Open, well lit & roomy, except for the second bedroom (conditionally. See comment elsewhere) Big modern kitchen. Good WiFi We didn't use fans or a/c because the weather didn't demand it. Super quiet & pretty street in an interesting gorgeous special neighborhood with super friendly residents. By the way, Belli's (local restaurant/cafe, grocery &. second hand clothes...) is right around the corner. A colorful iconic funky whimsical neighborhood cultural "hangout", offering great homemade interesting food options, which we visited 3 times! Beds were comfortable. Towels, sheets, soap, etc., were all provided for us. No complaints.

Second bedroom had twin beds, one of which slides out from under the other. When using only one, room was normal. With the 2nd bed slid out, very limited floor space. For us, no problem, we just slept there comfortably, but we had to let the living room provide space for our luggage. Bathroom is "cozy", but could be improved if there were a towel rack, perhaps hung on the wall or the door?

The apartment was very nice and comfortable and easy to access with the code. It was very well equipped and instructions for the location and access were very clear. The location in Spanish Town was really nice. A very old and traditional area and very quiet. Easy to walk to Downtown and the river, you wont need public transport. Also we found the Downtown area and Spanish Town very safe to walk around. We enjoyed our time here and would stay here again when visiting Baton Rouge.

This was a quick booking for us for 4 people of mixed genders. It’s was on the smaller side of what we generally rent for our group, for the price, but I’m usually more of a planner and don’t wait til the last minute. The location is great and easy to navigate around the neighborhood for downtown.

Our only complaint would be the bathroom. This location does offer window units for AC, so it makes taking a shower with the door closed unbearable in these summer months. The bathroom is extremely small with no counter space or turn around room. But for our rushed booking/trip it served its purpose.

Location, quiet, clean and great hosts!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The owner was very responsive and helpful for my family and I to safely park our cars. We also arrived late at night and the owner helped us each step of the way. I loved staying here because of the location, cleanliness and at-home feel! Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Spanish Town! Thank you so much!!

The hosts were super friendly and quick to respond to all of my questions. They even included photos to assist with explanations. The property was clean and cozy. It is conveniently located downtown and within walking distance of of numerous establishments and sites. Staying here absolutely enhanced our visit to Baton Rouge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again during our next visit.
