Luxurious Apartments - In Cardiff

-Location was convenient for our purposes. Nice parks, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. -We managed to get a parking spot right on the side of the property on our arrival. -The graveyard opposite the house was a source of endless jokes (we did not, indeed, rest in peace during our stay at this flat) -The heating worked well -Iron/hair dryer provided

-Cleanliness; as soon as I took my shoes off, the floor felt like it needed a good mopping. After a short while, the colour of my white socks confirmed this assessment. The carpet on the stairs looks gross and dirty. -The bathroom; it is extremely small. The toilet seat was loose and ill-fitting so that it moved around and was extremely awkward to use. There are no hooks to hang any towels. No bath mat provided either. Also did I mention the bathroom is right next to the sofa in the lounge - so you can listen to your travel companions drop the kids off at the pool while chilling on the sofa. What's not to love. -Towels and linens; not enough towels for our group - for three adults and two kids, we had 3 bath towels and one hand towel?!. The towels that were provided had a musty smell like they'd been wet for an extended period of time before drying. The bed linens had a similar, non-fresh feel and smell to them. -Beds; where did you get the mattresses from, ConcreteLumpz'R'Us?! honestly. The pillows and duvets felt cheap, I'm pretty sure I had the same set during my student days, purchased for pennies from Primani. Couldn't find any additional bedding/sheets for the sofa bed. -Kitchen amenities; would be good to have washing up liquid/hand soap in the kitchen. Missing basics such as a cork screw (there are two can openers though, for when you need to open two cans at once). -General bits in need of repair; one of the bedrooms had a dodgy looking broken power outlet. Dents to walls, cupboard handles missing etc. As our stay was during an international rugby match weekend, the accommodation options available to our group were limited. I still wish I'd booked somewhere else to be honest, even if it was at a higher cost.

No parking. Street parking was full and nowhere to park. Had to go around the streets to find parking.

The accommodation turned out to be quite cramped. The soundproofing from other apartments was insufficient, so we could hear the neighbors. There was no set of bedding for the third guest, even though their stay was included in the rental terms. Our attempts to contact the owner to request the necessary items were unsuccessful. Parking near the accommodation was challenging and time-consuming, as it was almost always filled with other cars.

Felt that it could of been cleaned a bit more, on arrival we found a dish of food(tuna) left in the fridge, bed sheets did not smell fresh and floor felt it need a good mop,

One of the below average properties I have booked with absolutely disgusting staff response. The flat was not clean and had a lot of dirt from previous occupants. There is a charge for cleaning the property and I believe that is just profit for the people running the property and don’t care about cleaning it. I had one of my close family staying there and it was very hard to listen to them explain about the stay. Feeling really embarrassed, I messaged the property and explained the situation. The property staff did acknowledge the issue after I sent all the pictures. Even though sometimes, issues can happen, as long as the staff are ready to make sure it doesn’t happen again, I think there shouldn’t be a reason to put a bad review. The property also offered a refund for me for the unacceptable standard of the property. After this, I decided not to put a review as I didn’t want to make a bad remark if it was a one off situation. After this, I had no response from the property at all. It’s not just about the money. The way in which they deal with their clients is more disgusting than how the accommodation was. Please avoid at all costs.

Loved our stay in this exceptional apartment for a few nights! Really cosy and spacious place, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the cleanliness and attention to detail were evident. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to prepare meals just like at home, made my stay incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, with easy access to local shops and public transport. The management was responsive and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay!
