Luxurious Apartments - In Cardiff

The decor was lovely and the beds were comfortable. The walk into Cardiff city centre was not bad.

The bathroom had a mouldy smell to it, the board under the bathroom cabinet was loose and seemed like it had water damage. The shower was not connected correctly and we had to do what we could to fix it so that we could actually shower. There was also a musty smell in the bedroom with 3 single beds and water damage on the ceiling. The saucepan in the kitchen cupboard was broken (handle was not attached). There were a few mugs and glasses however there was not enough for the amount of us staying there. It could do with a mat by the front door as my son slipped on the marble tiles due to it raining outside. The sofa was not very comfy and the street area didn’t seem the cleanest.

The property was nearer to city, nearer to local amenities.

Attracted with the glacey photos on booking.com and booked the place, was not aware that the flat was so small, right opposite to cemetery, couldn’t open windows due to smokes of illicit substances and at night it was difficult to have a good night sleep due to drunken people’s noises by your windows and doors. On our first day hot water wasn’t on, a female suddenly opened the door first thing in the morning whilst we were in bed. Seeing me in front of the door standing, the lady claimed that she was the cleaner and came to fix the hot water, surprised me. Anyway she couldn’t fix it, then advised that she would ask the manager to send someone to fix it. In the afternoon someone came and fixed it. There wasn’t any batteries for tv remote, no handwashing products in the bathroom, no iron, no iron board, no lock on bathroom door, bathroom was smelly and bedsheets and pillow cases were dirty.

Property inside was clean and comfortable and adequately equipped for our short stay. City centre could be reached within half an hour walk and public transport was nearby.

There were bins outside the front door with rubbish overflowing. Although obviously recently refurbished, some fixtures were broken eg overhead shower.

Property very nice and modern in ideal location

Reported not able to flush toilet and advised they were aware of the problem but could not get the part to be fixed, not able to use overnight, so could hear constant running water overnight.

Staff very friendly, very good quality apartment, very close to city centre, well equipped, free on street parking outside. Spacious

Internet was a bit intermittent maybe because flat 1 was the furthest from main modem, slight smell of drains in bathroom

Very happy and pleased with the value for money + the size of the property!

A few broken bits (dents in walls, cupboard underneath bathroom sink was broken), gone off milk sachets + not enough toilet roll for 6 guests

The shower wasn't working. Reported to the landlord but hasn't been sorted during our 4 days stay.
