Paihia Coastal 2 Bedroom Cottages

Fantastic location, literally less than 5 minutes drive from the beach, cafes, and shops. Super for a break away. Has everything you could want or need. Suoer for getting back to you with any questions about the area regarding taxis and such. 100% will be back again on the next trip North

The space was clean and beautifully decorated, with a well-stocked kitchenette offering complimentary beverages like tea, coffee, and milk. The beds were comfortable, and the location wonderfully peaceful. Communication with the owner was straightforward and helpful. Our overall experience was very positive. The cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful amenities made for a delightful stay, and we would certainly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful retreat.

On arrival, there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener in the room, which was difficult to ventilate due to the persistent rainy weather. The kitchenette's stove proved disappointingly weak - so much so that achieving proper heat for a simple stir-fry became impossible, significantly limiting cooking options. Additionally, given the rainy weather during our visit, we were hoping to use the balcony, but unfortunately, it lacked any form of covering. A small awning or some form of weather protection could greatly enhance the balcony's usability in various weather conditions.

Could not make television work

Clean and cozy in a nice location. Well stocked kitchen, pleasant to cook in. The weather was terrible while we there, torrential rain and wind so we didn't explore the area as much as we would have liked but the location is good for exploring Bay of Islands if the weather cooperates.

The tap water doesn't taste good. There were a few bottles for us in the fridge which was appreciated but had we known before hand we would have picked some up when we got groceries before checking in.

Great place to stay, you have neighbour's but because the houses are staggered you can't tell. Kitchen is well equipped which is great and loved having the coffee pods, yum. Thank you!

Location was good. Short drive to town. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.

Location is great for those who have a car as it is only a 5-min drive into Paihia township. The cottage is cute and has enough space for a family of 4 - perfect for couple with two kids or teens. The house gets an all-day Sun and we love how quiet it was. The balcony was great for taking night photos of the sky and stars. Inside the cottage was clean and tidy, accompanied with clean towels and kitchen amenities are complete. there was a Nepresso machine which was a bonus.

We were there in Summer, so can be quite hot. There is air con in the living room but not in bedrooms. So, we had to leave the doors opened to allow air circulation. There weren't enough power plugs in the rooms, so extension cord/ power board is necessary. We found one in the house, but perhaps they need a couple more. I booked the accomodation about 6 weeks before stay - acknowledge it is peak summer holiday period, I still found it a bit pricey.

Great kitchen and bbq facilities. Super beds! Nice view from the deck. Short drive into pahia.

Wifi was terrible. Couldn’t use streaming services. A bit of nighttime noise from the main road.
