Wir waren 3 Nächte dort inkl. Frühstück/Mittagessen/Abendessen - das Menü-Angebot (inklusive) ist sehr überschaubar und wird schnell eintönig, bzw. man muss dann für weitere Angebote bezahlen. Leider kann man dort nicht im Meer baden aufgrund starker Wellen und Strömungen...

La maison pourrait être mieux aménagée: espaces extérieurs non aménagés et salle-a-manger sans âme.

Amazing beach and sea views, access to turtle watching was a big bonus, can hear the sounds of the sea and waves crashing onto shore from everywhere in the property, chef was amazing cooking traditional tasty food and catered towards our needs (which was not easy given we had a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters plus different flavour/spice preferences). Massages were very good and worth the high price. Staff were helpful.

All minor points but rooms are basic (not decorated), 2 bathrooms had a bit of a smell, pictures of the listing when booking make the property look more pristine than it actually is (but is still very nice)

Die Lage der Sati Villa ist hervorragend und bietet viel Ruhe. Besonders die schönen Sonnenuntergänge haben den Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Lange Spaziergänge am Meer in der Umgebung laden sehr zum Entspannen ein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet und sehr schön gestaltet. Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Insgesamt war es ein wundervoller Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

We stayed at the villa with our two kids (4 and 7). The team at Sati villa were excellent. Chef Thilagan prepared excellent food and was careful with my son’s allergies. The beach that the garden leads onto was spectacular and although the sea is too rough to swim has a lovely rock pool for dips and was great for early morning or evening strolls/runs. Gayyan also kept us informed about turtle nestings on the beach and after dinner we were able to see green turtles laying their eggs and also hatching and making a dash for the sea which was an amazing experience for us and the kids. We used the villa as a costal base to explore Yala and Udawalawe national parks whilst also being close to the beaches of Mirissa, Hiriketiya etc. worked really well with all being within a hour and a half drive. What a trip! Thanks team would definitely recommend!!

The overall experience has been super right from the moment of making the booking. Shirini is a very good host, overall being in contact, making sure that things are right etc. The team at the villa were super efficient, motivated and keen to make sure we felt welcomed. Chef Thillakan, supported by Gayyan and KAvidhu made sure we had a super holiday!

leider ist die Klimaanlage in einem der Zimmer ausgefallen, vermutlich funktioniert sie inzwischen wieder.

Location is superb and unbeatable, located right on Rekawa beach where the turtles come to nest. We went on turtle watch and after we had seen the turtles laying and heading back to the ocean, we were able to easily head back home! The house is beautiful with huge bedrooms and modern tasteful bathrooms. I loved the pared back minimalistic decor. We had Ayurvedic massages arranged by the staff and it was so relaxing and professional. The chef, Thilagan is amazing and served us the most delicious food. The other two members of staff were friendly, helpful and could not do enough. They climbed up and got us coconuts to drink which were so tasty! I was sad to say goodbye.
