Casita del Arco El Cedral Cozumel

Es war ein kleines sehr gemütliches Haus. Manuel hat uns auch mitten in der Nacht um 23:30 Uhr freundlich empfangen. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Am nächsten Tag haben wir im hellen erst mal den schönen Garten mit Mango Bäumen, Kokospalmen und dem schönen Pool bewundert. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und soweit von der Stadt das man von dem Trubel der Kreuzfahrer nichts mitbekommt. Manuel gab uns tolle Tipps was man auf Cozumel alles machen kann. Man braucht zwingend ein Auto um sich die ganze Insel anschauen zu können. Auch haben wir von Manuel schon im Vorfeld Tips zu Ortsansässigen Vermietern bekommen. Wir hatten zuerst sorge das uns in den 3 Wochen die wir hier waren langweilig wird, das ist aber nicht geschehen...Wir hätten locker noch eine Woche dranhängen können. Auch hat Manuel sich um unsere Gesundheit gekümmert indem wir fast Täglich eine Ladung frische Mangos und Kokosnüsse aus dem Graten bekommen haben:-). Sollten wir wieder nach Cozumel reisen dann wird nur bei Manuel übernachtet.

I liked the owner Manuel and his 5 dogs that are really really quiet, this is a very small house so ok for a short term stay, we stayed 10 nights. Nice deep 5 foot pool all for you and very clean. Functional small house in a beautiful garden landscape with fruit trees.

Um, there was an important problem that arose but the owner did his best to quickly remedy the situation so that was appreciated. El Cedral is a quaint village that goes nowhere but there is a 10km loop that I often walked in the morning that is really nice as it circles the jungle, however atvs and side by sides also find this to be a great spot, so they are frequent go past the house in the morning between 10am to 6pm, not all time <but everyday> but you will hear them sometimes 15 to 20 at a time.....so keep this in mind. It's not a deal breaker but can <is> annoying. But maybe not for everybody, to each their own. The value is there for a private house. Ants are present as well in various numbers, I feel better bug control would control this. The owner will provide whatever you need to enjoy your stay. Keep in mind he lives on the property and must past by the house to leave his house and access his car, but he is so nice that I was always happy to see him.

Todo! La comodidad es impresionante, la tranquilidad, el espacio personal, los perritos.

very peaceful place no other people no noise just your own peace. almost new well equipped house with a big swimming pool. the host was very nice and a great person. he helped us with everything we needed and we got great tips about places on the island. we also got snorkeling equipment. if you travel to the island and want peace close to nature this is definitely a good choice.

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft und ein sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

It’s quite a small house, but big enough and it has everything you need. The location is perfect (if you rent a car), the house is clean, the garden is beautiful, the pool is big and las but not least: the host (Manuel) is amazing. He will do everything to make your stay unforgettable! Next time Cozumel? For sure here again!

The only thing I can think of, is the sound of the quads next door. But besides that, it’s perfectly quiet.

Manuel war ein sehr hilfsbereiter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber . Es waren super Übernachtungen , die Lage ist abseits des Massentourismus und daher für uns ideal

Manuel hizo que nos sintiésemos como en casa y nos dio todo tipo de facilidades para estar comodxs, tanto en el alojamiento como en la isla. La casa, ubicada en una zona muy tranquila de la isla, es muy acogedora, con todo lo necesario para ser independiente, la cama es muy cómoda y la maravillosa piscina siempre está a punto para refrescarte. Pero lo mejor de todo, a pesar de los inevitables mosquitos, es poder disfrutar del jardín, y de los múltiples animales que desde él se pueden observar, pero sobretodo, de las agradables charlas con Manuel y los juegos con sus compinches Fiona, Tomasa, Julia, Afro y su hermano mayor. Un lugar maravilloso dentro de la isla, totalmente recomendable si dispones de vehículo. Si volvemos a la isla sin duda repetiremos.
