"A quiet location, close to nature and an easy drive to the area's key sights"

8.0

The views from the kitchen and lounge are lovely, looking north across the Levels. We felt very close to nature. A friendly welcome from the host Sue, the Annexe has all the facilities we required for a short stay. It was very clean on arrival.

Its worth bearing in mind that this is a relatively small property, and the bedrooms are on the tiny side, much smaller than we had expected from the property description. The owners have done well to create a destination which works well for a short stay.

Beautiful location, amble parking. Lovely and quiet. Annexe was spotlessly clean. Host introduced themselves.which was nice. Quaint annexe but had absolutely everything you would need. They even had the heating on a timer so it was toasty when we were up early on a frosty morning, which was lovely.

Nothing to not like. A clean scourer for washing up would be nice rather than a used one but that is a minor thing to change. A few pots in the cupboard haven't been washed properly and put back, but an easy thing to rectify if checked each time a changeover is completed.

"Great early-easter break with good facilities in a beautiful rural location"

Great quiet location close to Glastonbury, Wells and North Somerset in general, the property is compact, but all you need for a few days stay.

Good bathroom and nice towels. In the place we wanted to visit. If it had been sunny it would have been more pleasant, but it wasn't sunny and the house wasn't very inspiring. Very helpful hostess. Lots of interesting places to see.

Uncomfotable sofa and generally rather cramped. Can sleep 4 but would be very crowded. Not very generous equpment, 4 knives, forks mugs etc, and no good sized saucepan. Fridge very small indeed. The bedroom had a wardrobe with 5 hangers in it but there was no chest of drawers. ( a small one could have been put into the wardrobe. No games or books provided. The television lacked working internet, and there was no DVD machine to tide us over.

"We had a nice time. Birdwatching by day. Relaxing in the evening. Drive to the Swan for dinner."

9.0

Location good for bird watching places. Definitely needed a car.

Difficult to find for us. Google maps had us in the wrong drive 1/4mile away. Phoned up host…. No problem thereafter.. Would have helped if it had not been pitch black. What three words would be a good locator.
