The kitchen was a mess like everything was left all over the sides like sumone was living there got to my room stunk of swet ,looked like the bed had been slept in bits in the bed and smelt of swet the bedding bed was broken, dipping in ,un used condom packets down side of bed ,messy bathroom, no toilet rolls I had to go bye sum was just empty ones,sumone else's mess left in the bathroom we had a used towel in our bedroom as well ,the house looked OK on the pictures as well but me and my partner will not be staying again .couple of pictures shame can't upload more .

It was filthy, unsanitary, and I felt unsafe the moment I saw the open door.

Everything. Located at the edge of a run down estate, dank. Damp musky smell in room. Crayon numbered doors. Looks and felt like an illegal sublet from channel 4. Everything was dirty bar the towel they left. Cheap Chinese smart locks on the door. Didn't stay there I made it about 30 minutes then went home because this place is rancid.

Avoid at any cost. No heating on day one. It was very cold and damp. On 2nd day when I came back from work room was warm and radiator was running but cold room again in the morning. Dirty/smelly duvet cover and pillow cases. Seems like not been changed or washed for a while. Very cheap/ old mattress had no padding, springs dug into my back. I did not want my back pain to flare up therefore, I decided to sleep on floor, lucikly carpet looked clean. Bathroom in miserable condition, lock is non functional.  I was working all day hence never been to the kitchen . I wish, I had read the reviews before booking. How can a trustable site like Booking.com allow such business to advertise on their reputable site? Property is managed remotely, probably the reason its a neglected place. I am a professional, always give benefit of doubt when writing a review but Never had such a horrible experience anywhere in England.

I will be honest in writing this review. I’m self employed and needed somewhere cheap to stay as accommodation was not included in the job I was doing. It was relatively close to where I needed to be which is the only good thing to like

The property and bedroom doors are opened by a very poorly fitted and noisy electronic keypad. Halfway through my stay I was given a new key code which expired at midnight if I did not use it. You don’t need to use it to exit the building! Working late, I returned at 2:30am and the code did not work. I had to sleep in my car until 7:30 when I finally got a new code. The owner turns her phone off during the night. She said it was all my fault and couldn’t even apologise or give me a refund. But when you are so tired who cares. The place is devoid of character and furniture. Nothing in the lounge apart from a bear bed. Nothing in the dining room apart from a garage sales bought tumble dryer. The kitchen is dirty with a few pots and pans that look like they came from a rubbish dump. The bedroom was small with an uncomfortable mattress with the feeling that the springs where about to come through at any time. The duvet was ultra thin and the room cold, especially as the window doesn’t close properly so draft and outside noise comes in. Not great if you’re working nights and sleep during the day. The room was dirty and hadn’t had a deep clean for ages. The bathroom door was hanging of its hinges and I had to repair this just to shut the door. One of the guests reported this to the owner 3 weeks earlier but nothing had been done. The door lock doesn’t even shut or lock the door so it will pop open with all the drafts. The pull cord was absolutely filthy and covered in grime and again, the bathroom was dirty and needed replacing and a deep clean. The walls are very thin so you hear all the noises going on in the property from squeaking door hinges, loud electronic door key pads, squeaky floorboards and the two other guests (who tried to be so quiet). There are two listings for the same property on this site. One has a 5.3 score and the other has a 1.0 score. The high first score is a make believe version of reality.
