Excellent location

Nothing it was perfect

The lodge is located next to the canal so it is very quiet and peaceful but it takes just over 5 minutes to walk into the village, along the tow path. The room was absolutely spotless. We couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

Such a lovely place! Great location very quiet and peaceful right by the canal and the pavilion. Great views and a 5-minute walk from the centre of town. The facilities were great. Cabin was surprisingly roomy beds were super comfortable and the TV was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was lovely and clean and very relaxing. I also really enjoyed the speaker in the ceiling as I could play my music and hear it all over the cabin.

I didn't receive an email with the code to the lock box and so I had to find a staff member who then had to message the owner and get a code for the lock box but that was a very minor issue and was handled very well

It was a little small for more than one night stay as no indoor seating. Fab if the weather is nice and only need a bed for the night
