Somerset Lodge, a secret hideaway

A peaceful and private location, offering a comfortable and cosy place to retreat. Excellent and easy communication with the host. Highly recommended.

Had everything we needed

A little difficult to find!

Wirklich ein gemütliches, ruhiges , entspanntes secret hideaway mit guter Lage zu Ausflügen auch nach Bristol, Bradford on Avon , Cheddar , Glastonbury und die schönen Strände um Weston Super Mare. Ein eigenes Auto ist erforderlich, da das Cottage etwas abseits liegt, auch zum einkaufen .Der nächste Ort ist allerdings nur ca 2 km entfernt. Giles hat uns den Weg in sein schönes Cottage , das mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man braucht, perfekt beschrieben. Sehr schön eingerichtet und die Heizung funktioniert auch😄Ganz herzlichen Dank noch einmal für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt

Lodge was clean, comfortable, close to Bath but not in the city centre, it was the perfect place to chill out after a long day walking around Bath.

Nothing, it was a great place to stay.

The open plan cottage is really spacious with a beautiful interior. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed and couch very comfortable, the shower lovely. Great recycling system! Although it was 37°C outside, it was cool inside, a real haven for tired travellers.

Quite relaxing and secluded, everything that was needed. Clean tidy and a very welcoming and comfortable feel, communication was also amazing.

Perfect place for a cheeky getaway. Loved waking up with the sound of chirping birds in the morning, and listening to the babbling brook while enjoying a glass of red wine outside in the evenings. Everything was clean and well kept.. And very private.. Easy access to Bath and Bristol if you fancy exploring.. Will definitely be returning..
