Somerset Lodge, a secret hideaway

Lovely location.

Absolutely loved this lodge, so cosy, everything you need. Wished we could have stayed longer, will certainly book again when down that way.

We loved staying here, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation had everything you could need, and was very stylish. The gardens were beautiful. I can just image what it would be like in the summer time.

No faults at all!

The facilities were excellent and the lodge was very comfortable. Giles was a lovely host and very welcoming on arrival.

Only negative had was the timing on heaters. Didn't come on when expected they might. But this didn't cause too much on an issue.

The property had a big outdoor area with a stream running down the side of it , the bbq facility is a really nice touch and we enjoyed roasting our marshmallows it’s also well lit with plenty of lights out doors. Inside the property feels very cosy and spacious with nice decor , a good Bluetooth speaker , tv and comfy bed and sofa . When we arrived the cabin was very warm and clean with nice smells and scenery . The shower is big enough to fit two with great pressure and well designed . And the host Giles made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to drive us to our bus stop , he also offered nice wine which is a nice touch . He is very friendly and talkative which made it the extra special . Definitely would return near the summer
