The Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort

The resort is located at the Volta River. You can rent kayaks or go on boat rides which I both highly recommend. It has beautiful rooms with terrace to the river, very nice designed with separated bath area and bathtub. I really liked the design of the resort, you feel relaxed the minute you get there.

I think for the size of the resort, the pool could be bigger. Also, the food at the pool bar took very long to come.

All rooms have a balcony onto the river. Pool is a great size. Bath in room is extra luxury

Our recent stay at The Royal Senchi was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding customer service that set the tone for a truly relaxing vacation. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Volta River, lush greenery, and a serene ambiance that makes it the perfect getaway. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a treat, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. There was never a dull moment, thanks to the wide range of activities available. We especially loved the boat trip to the dam—an absolute must-do! Just a little tip: bring your own drinks for the ride to make it even more enjoyable. Overall, The Royal Senchi exceeded our expectations, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and top-tier hospitality in Ghana, this is the place to be! We will definitely be back.

If I had to mention one very minor suggestion, it would be to have a TV in one of the main bars in addition to the sports bar which on the other side of the resort. But honestly, this was such a small thing in what was otherwise a flawless experience.
