Beachfront Reunions @ Canyon Cove

The caretaker is nice.

The unit has lots of problems, like the kitchen faucet is moving/broken.. the sink is clogged that is why it is making a foul smell in the unit, it is the first thing that hits us when we open the unit, that foul smell... the double bed has a ladder that is broken, my sister almost got an accident because the ladder was not attached to the bed, it is also broken, some of the window blinds were broken too. The balcony has a bad view because of the dead coconut trees that is blocking the view of the sea. There is also like a haunted/unfinished building in front of the unit building. The place seems forgotten and the hallways and stairs in the condo does not have lightings in the morning so the hallways and stairs is dark, giving it an eerie feeling. The beach in front of the unit is dirty with lots of garbage and people with dogs let their dogs poo there and dont even pick up it up. A little bit disgusting... oh by the way.. there is actually no videoke with a song book. You need to connect to YouTube to sing but then again, the Wi-Fi keep on buffering. we were not able to see any movies as well...

The place was near the beach that was very accessible and relaxing. All the rooms where clean and had separate bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped as well.

The only things we did not like was the caretaker was a bit rude when we where checking out and also we were charged php 4000 for two kids age 4 and 6 that was not stated in their policy.

I like the configuration of the apartment, really good for reunion with a big family. Perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms for 25 people. I like that it is beachfront, we were able to swim at the beach and walk before sunrise (that was fun). The swimming pool is also good but adults should watch the children, the pool is 5 ft deep - the only shallow part is by stairs on two sides. The apartment has a kitchen where we were able to cook simple dinner and breakfast (mostly frying and reheating). It also has a big dining table where we ate and played Jenga - perfect place for bonding with family. We also used the Karaoke machine. The aircon all worked as expected. Anna, the caretaker is very friendly.

I didn't like the part where the water turns off at any time. No schedule. Good thing they have reserved water in big drums. So you have to use the basic tabo for bathing, etc.. Also, the drainage in the shower clogged up. Be careful, you might slip while showering. I also used the squeegee to wipe off the floor. There's no basic toiletries, not even toilet paper. So you better come prepared. (This was specified in the description, but still- it's annoying). There's no blanket.

Beautiful stay with family. Looking foreard to next visit.
