spacious, cozy, comfortable ground level apartment, short walk towards the main bus station and tourist attraction, this was my last stop city in 13 days before heading home, i felt like i didnt want to go out anymore and just stay in the apartment. Try to download easypark app, street parking between 8am to 4pm, free after 4pm, i didnt have trouble finding parking, i even parked in front of the apartment : ). Thank you for hosting me. i had a great 3 day stay

Clean, modern, comfortable.

Wifi password was wrong, host didn't respond to messages but did answer phone promptly and fix problem. Can't park very close to apartment.

Location is great. You can walk to city center. All facilities are in working condition.

The place needs deep cleaning once in a while. There was lot of dust below the bed.

The wood floor was filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Even though check in was so late in the day (5pm), we had several hours of listening to dishwasher and laundry machines running and couldn't get to items until they were done. Had to dig through laundry to find dish linens. Bath towels were folded on the floor next to the shower. Host ignored messages sent via booking.com ahead of stay regarding check-in. Due to below grade level, the windows were frosted for privacy, so no view outside.

The tiny bedroom with a window under the ceiling would have been practically the only drawback, but: upon arrival the apartment was the dirtiest I have ever seen, they didn’t even bother to wash the floors in the center of the living room, let alone the corners. But even that was not the worse thing. I had questions for the host. Since his check-in is at 5pm (!), I asked few days before our arrival, if we could store our suitcases at the apartment until 5pm or at least if he had an advise on another option, because it is an issue in Alesund there's no storage place neither at the airport, nor at the bus station. But he didn’t answer! Not on Booking.com,, not in WhatsApp, he only sent a standard greeting message with check-in details and a request not to turn off the washing machine while it was running on our arrival and even offered to take out and fold the laundry when the laundry was over, after...4 hours. He popped up only on the day we were leaving with written instructions for check-out and a question whether we were ready to leave early. Bottom line: dirty apartment without a host in beautiful Ålesund.

Nothing. WORST PLACE I EVER BOOKED!

Filthy place all over, bedroom is tiny, only a bed could fit in, you cant walk around the bed you need to walk on the bed to get to another side, bedlinen is dirty, like it was re-used from previous customers without a wash, hair and sand on the bed, i saw a signs of a rats in the property so wont be surprised as they have them there. More over, be ware of ALARM! Owner send a message that the alarm goes on occasionally but this is not true, it is constant! And what is more: his instructions how to switch it off totally LIE! He was saying there is a button you need to press, no buttons or switches there. I texted owner he did not reply, i contacted booking.com to contact the owner to get explanation how to deal with the alarm, he finally called and said that i need to SWITCH OFF ALL ELECTRICITY IN THE HOUSE to be able TO STOP THE ALARM!!!! Then he said „i provided the solution “ and hang up the phone! (I‘m leaving the image of the alarm, it is inside the cabinet in the kitchen as it would take a time to find it) BE WARE THIS PERSON is NOT GENUINE! He does not know how thighs work in the house, he has not even been in this house! He is not resolving any issues! I‘m not the first one who complained about him. He is not Norwegian, he just ripping off customers, knowing that booking.com will not intervene if host will refuse to refund. Just to repeat the main point: HE WILL NOT REFUND or RESOLVE ANY ISSUES! DON‘T BOOK IT!

Clean, spacious living room and bathroom, all facilities are provided , including toiletries, utensils, towels and even basic food. Many sockets. Good location , about 15min walk from centre Host friendly , allows me to enter before check-in time

A lovely comfortable apartment a short walk from the centre of Ålesund - and outstanding value for money. The apartment had everything I needed for my short stay (or for a longer stay) and Per-Kristian was a great host - very responsive to my queries and very accommodating. And there’s a good pizza restaurant just around the corner :-)

This property has great potential to be a lovely apartment and located not far from the centre of Alesund. However, the host's description of it is misleading and he really needs to employ new cleaners.

Unfortunately, we realised as soon as we entered the property that it was dirty. There was a thick layer of dust on all the furniture, the shower hadn't been cleaned properly, and the floors were filthy. The host had informed us that the washing machine might be running with previous guests' sheets and towels, which indeed it was. This is completely unprofessional. Accommodation laundry should be done off-site or at least finished and put away before new guests arrive. The mattress on the bed was awful as it is way too soft. The sheets, although thankfully clean, had clearly been put on after sitting in the dryer for a long time as they were unbelievably creased; this made the undersheet particularly uncomfortable to sleep on. The wardrobe in the bedroom is missing a door which is propped up against it. The fridge needed a thorough clean and the washing-up sponge was brown with grime. Yuck! There was a random assortment of mismatched crockery and the handwash by the sink was empty. The shower unit had been badly fitted so it stood proud of the wall by some margin and, when getting in or out of it, we had to negotiate past the washing machine. Also, the windows looked like they'd never been cleaned. This property needs a complete overhaul, a deep clean by professional cleaners, and continued cleaning by professionals thereafter.
