Perfect location, especially for those traveling by train….5 minute walk from station. Restaurants, cafe/pastry shops, on-water viewing and eating venues a few steps away. Angela was very responsive to reported problems.

Compared to other lodging locations during my Italian adventure, this location rates just an “ok.” It’s nicely located, clean and secure but furnishings are visibly worn. Internet service was initially a problem which was addressed quickly the day I arrived, but on the day of departure, Internet access was not working again. 0 cellular service without an e-sim.

Location to train station and ferries, size of property. Washing machine ( needs a service as jumping on spin)

No grocery stores so we could not use the kitchenette. Info about grocery locations and other town facilities would have been helpful. Iron but no ironing board provided. Our biggest issue was the PowerPoints as our international adaptors did not fit your old sockets. We had to use the adapter for the washing machine to charge our phones and also to use your hair dryer, iron and even the kettle was hard to use with your extra power board. I also suggest framing the wifi password and putting higher on the wall so easier to read than down low on the box. No extras provided in kitchen ( tea, coffee, salt, pepper) or bathroom except for shower gel. There was washing powder which was appreciated.

Fabulous location with short stroll to lake and restaurants. Was quiet although street can be busy. Self contained apartment. Owner responsive to messages.

it was a ground floor unit with a small garden with a table and chairs, which we enjoyed during the warm afternoons. The water front is just a short walk away with lots of restaurants and shops. A very beautiful spot that must be experienced.

The villa is located 5 minutes from Varenna railway station. The property has a fully fitted kitchen. It is clean and spacious flat.

There are no curtains in the bedroom and hence your sleep could be disturbed especially during summer. There is a washing machine but no dryer hence it could be an issue on a rainy day.

Location was great! Walkable to everything! The host provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for a family.

Beds had older mattresses and building wasn’t sound proofed likely due to its age so we heard the upstairs occupants above us having a small party and walking back and forth.

The Location

We would have appreciated to have the owner to come to see by herself the little problem that I explained to her over the phone. That would have been much more professional than asking useless suggestions by email and that did not solve the problem. Fortunately, this little problem about one burner and about the gas lighter which did not work, did not bother us too much....
