Cader Mountain View Cottage with Hot Tub in Snowdonia

The house was lovely, and rooms comfortable. Lovely and clean

We wish we knew the hot tub would be cold. If we had got there any later, we probably wouldn't have been able to use it. I did enjoy lighting the fire and heating it up, but it took a good couple of hours. I just wish we had known as we were expecting to get straight in. I've been somewhere before that would heat it up for you for a small additional charge which I thought was fair.

Struggled to get up the drive as gravel had dug in so quite a few bumps and we couldn’t empty the hot tub as plug was stuck

The beautiful location. Quiet & peaceful but only 1 mile from Dolgellau & only about 10 minutes from the start of the Caider Idris walk/ climb. The wood fired hot tub was blissful, once you got the hang of lighting it etc. The cottage was very cosy, clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly & most helpful. The cottage had everything we needed for a short stay for myself, husband & our 2 dogs( safe, enclosed garden for them & a fleecy blanket). There were 2 en- suite bedrooms , a fully equipped open plan kitchen & spacious lounge, garden with hot tub, table & chairs & barbecue. Would definitely recommend & would like to return sometime.

The level of luxury throughout the cottage. The wood fired hot tub is amazing ! The planes flew past us sat in the tub !
