BEWhat a magical place between the rice fields. The room is cozy and comfortable. We booked a tour with the host for a very fair price! We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle tour with him, including a packed lunch. The breakfast and dinner were also always delicious! Definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for our wonderful stay.
GBAmazing location - very close to the Sinharaja Rainforest - and very peaceful. It was lovely watching and listening to all the birds, frogs and insects in the outside area! We also had some amazing food cooked by Thisara’s Mum each day 😍 Our host Thisara was also really helpful organising taxis for us, and was also one of our guides for our hike through the rainforest (which we thoroughly enjoyed)! It was also great to learn about the family rice farm that the accommodation is part of!
With a few small changes/additions I think the room could be even more comfortable/cosy - a bedside lamp for reading in bed would have been great (there was just one really bright light on the ceiling), and maybe some coat hooks/hangers for keeping clothes/coats etc a bit more organised 😊

CHCHWords cannot describe how great Thisarn’s place is. You’ve got your own little cottage next set aside from the main house - on an island, surrounded by paddy fields on all sides, and behind them the rainforest. The sound of nature was so relaxing, we struggled to stay awake! Thisarn took us for a beautiful tour in the rainforest where we saw lots of animals. His mum is a great cook so we ended up eating all our meals there. A piece of heaven - I didn’t want to leave!
