Cozy 3-Bedroom Flat Opposite Forest Recreation Ground

The allotment/garden for the flat below seemed to be well kept.

Where to start? Broken glass panel on the door on entry... seemingly been there for a while according to other reviews. The stairs up to the flat are bare and unwelcoming. Upon entering the flat there were soaking wet bedsheets, pillowcases and towels hanging on radiators and the wardrobe rails. After crawling round for 5 minutes my 1 year olds feet were black such is the state of the floors. The entire flat is grubby. There was green mold on top of the toilet. No toilet roll, No tea towel and no wine glasses. There are signs of damage and neglect all over the flat. It is in dire need of a good clean and renovation. I should've checked out immediately. I messaged the host about the wet towels and new dry ones were provided within an hour or so. The WiFi wasn't working as apparently the router had been damaged by a previous occupant. We stayed for one night as we had no other option at that point but in the morning the hot water had stopped working so we left and checked into a hotel instead. This property is at best an overpriced doss hole for a few lads on the piss in Nottingham for a night. IT IS NOT SUITABLE ACCOMMODATION FOR A FAMILY IN IT'S CURRENT STATE. The owner has offered a full refund and hopefully will be forthcoming with that.

Good location, very close to city centre.

Shabby entrance, broken pane of glass on front door, patched with hard board. 2 small double beds, 1 single, doesn't sleep 6. Mattresses very soft. Kitchen poorly equipped, ie random mugs and tumblers. Blinds in bedroom broken, furniture damaged.

When we got to the apartment we couldn't get in the lock box as the code had been changed as it had just been cleaned supposedly. It was not clean at all. there was dust literally everywhere to the point where someone had written 'scrubber' into the filth accumulated on one of the photo frames. It needs a lot of TLC the space is great but it isnt in good shape there was even a broken or half build cabinet in the living room space.

Access is a bit grotty. Lack of everyday equipment like mugs,wine glasses,teatowel to dry pots. Not very clean floors,some maintenance in bathroom needed. Dusty.

The apartment is well presented and decorated. We had a couple of issues upon check-in, but the hosts were exceptionally responsive to this and were on hand to assist us. Customer service is really important and these hosts are evidently capable. Massive thanks to you for the support and providing a really nice space for me and my friends!

The location was near Nottingham town centre and on all the main bus routes

The floors were filthy throughout. The double beds were very small, not the standard double size. The decor was tired with suspicious brown stains on the wall of one of the bedrooms. One of the double rooms was damp and very smelly. The sheets were old, and the towels had seen much better days and certainly need replaced. There was tea and coffee, probably left by other renters, with best before dates of 2023!!! So obviously the cleaners do not check or clean cupboards. The flat could be so much better, but even a basic deep clean would have made our stay more bearable. I would not consider staying here again.
