The sheets, duvet cover and bath towels were not clean when I arrived, there was no hairdryer, there was a bit of a problem with the lock on the bedroom door, it couldn't be locked from the inside, and the next morning the bedroom door was suddenly opened by the previous guests, which was very frightening but the landlord didn't know who they were.

First, the lady tried to get more money than what I had already pain. She made us four wait outside for an hour just stupidly try to pretend as she wouldn’t let us in. Her comments like “Oh Booking.com has booked it for a price on which you can’t get a room in Africa even”. When I showed her the confirmation that clearly showed everything paid and “no balance” even then she made us wait outside. Then came the worse part. There’s some “regular” tenants living there who who drink and smoke in and outside the house. I wasn’t comfortable at all especially due to kids. I did raise this concern to the lady but she, understandably, didn’t want to lose her regular tenant. It was so embarrassing that we decided to leave the next morning but because there weren’t any other family rooms available, we had to stay. But what we did was we would go there quite late at night and would leave very early. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for FAMILIES!

Use of drugs by the other occupants. The picture is just one example where the people left cigarettes and cigarette butts in the dining area. Beer bottles are not uploaded so as to NOT advertise them.

I liked the friendly atmosphere and manager was lovely and would help anyone..very clean and the beds a very conforble..would recommend to anyone and will be using again..thank you for the experience

The woman charged a fee for "cleaning" and the bathroom was disgusting when we went to use it. There were no mirrors, no hanger, no banister (my mum and aunty are old and was struggling to get up and down the stairs.) Not happy with the stay at all, would like to talk to someone. Furthermore, one of the residents that live there, was unhygienic, drinking and he even came upstairs and tried opening my door. I opened it and he was stood outside naked. It's disgusting, what if my mum opened her door?! She's 78 and if anything happened to her, I'd be fuming. My mum was upset because they charged us a cleaning fee and they didn't clean the bathroom and my mum had to keep cleaning the bath before she used it. There was no coffee, tea, toilet roll etc. We're very unhappy about the stay and would like a full refund. Also, we want to put in a massive complaint about that guy, he's a predator and he lives there.
