"Don't waste your time or money"

Rubbish, cancelled at last moment, stating structural damage, but told booking.com that I had cancelled. Neither them or booking.com made any effort to refund my money until I complained. I've just noticed the rating on this place (very poor), so that ought to tell you everything about them.

"Absolutely shocking!"

Everything to start there wasn’t an adress we was on the street for half an hour ringing them to help find it eventually they answered saying they has been an issue and they are fully booked up and they will send a full refund instantly. Still no refund I had to pay 300 short notice for a other hotel and still not get my money back for this one

"Hassle."

Didn't end up staying in the property as weren't aware of the damage deposit - this needs to be made clear on the page when booking and NOT in the small print. Requested 4 times for early check in which was ignored. When asked for the damage deposit i asked if we could pay through paypal to protect our money - the answer was no and i was just given bank details. Didn't end up staying here as our event started at 3pm, the host said we could check in at 1.30pm but for an extra charge - after the stress we had I think the early check in should of been given as a goodwill gesture. HOST DID NOT mention damage deposit until MORNING of the stay - knowing we could not cancel and get a refund. This was booked in november so i'm unsure as to why the host couldn't of mentioned this beforehand? Definitely so he could keep our money. Raised a dispute with Booking.com now anyway, so hopefully we get our money back!!

"Very poor"

Probably one of the worst places I have stayed. I didn't enjoy much about staying at the property. Location was probably the best thing.

Where do I start. Communication with host was poor. We were asked for a £250 damage deposit on the morning of the stay. Whilst this is mentioned under other info, it wasn't clear at time of booking and came as a shock. Host wasn't very helpful and ignored any messages sent asking info around deposit. Everything was a cost. Every single hour of early check in or late check out. It was difficult to find the key which was hidden locally and instructions were confusing. Ended up paying for parking, as would have had to pay for early check in in order to get the car park key (£18 for car parking locally and early check in would have totalled £40). Rooms were extremely shabby and sparce. Furniture was broken. There was holes in the walls. The was dirt in areas including hair in bed and in bathroom. It took 5 working days which was over 7 days due to bank holiday to get the deposit back. Overall a really poor experience

The thing we liked was the location. It is ideally located in the city centre

The apartment was very difficult to get into, with no one meeting you, having to get keys from key boxes, putting codes in lock boxes, and taking instructions from the online chat only after handing over perosonal details. Once finally inside, the place wasn't kept well, broken draws, heater hanging from a wall in one bedroom, filthy blinds at windows, a tired old sofa. There was one key between x2 bedrooms of people which made it difficult as you don't always want to stick together. There were also signs around the whole building saying these apartments are for residents only and not to be let out as an air b&b, which made us feel uncomfortable coming and going. Unfortunately, it's not what we expected.

Home was nice

The host asked 15£ for checkin after 21.00 though it was a self checkin, the host asked a deposit of 250£ just two days before our coming and it was not reported in the flat announcement
