The Undercoft stylish and elegant private studio at The Old Church House central Frome

Central location,cozy and unique. I booked last minute and wasnt sure what to expect but but was pleasantly surprised. The air filtration works great.

Theres no windows and the curtain by the door has be drawn otherwise everyone on the street can see in. Some blinds would have been a bit better. It was a bit dark for my liking. Also the pillows were far too thin and soft.

Location was very good

Nice, rustic feel to the room. Bed and facilities were great and in good condition. Perfect location for exploring the restaurants and night life of Frome.

There are no windows to the property. As described by the host there is an air filtration system, which does an adequate job. However, if you are someone who prefers a window open then be mindful of this. Personally this didn’t detract from our stay however.

Lovely renovation

the location is ideal right in the heart of Frome - walking distance everywhere- be ready for a short walk from the car park or drop your bags off before parking. The conversion of the tiny space is very clever, nicely done and comfortable. it is a lovely historic building that has been converted to enhance the character.

the downside for me was that, other than the front door, which is glass and allows a view directly on to the bed from street level, there is no natural light. for privacy we kept the curtain closed most of the time, which meant we were in artificial lighting the whole time. The kitchen equipment and crockery is all a bit random in the tiny kitchen area…. no toaster but there is a toasted sandwich maker…. we hoped to make our own breakfast but had not seen from the details that this was not really feasible.

Great location. Lovely decor and a comfortable bed. Great shower. A lovely touch- drinks in the fridge.

Better quality pillows would have elevated this to a 10.
