Bulls Head Inn Rooms

It was spacious and the bathroom was very clean and in good order. The staff are really nice and it’s very close to Alton towers.

Great locations, nicely finished room, quiet and comedy bed, great shower

Not cleaned brilliantly, cob webs, dirt around the sink and shower tray. No towels, no mugs (we had to get them from the room next door) Biggest bad thing was their was no water provided, kettle doesn’t fit under the bathroom tap and so couldn’t use it

Well-renovated property with beautiful old oak flooring, antique radiators and fireplace and one very comfortable chair. Also loved the authentic feel of the old village pub. Staff and locals very friendly and great pub grub. Well used by family groups. Most impressed with how Rosa and her colleague cleaned tables, chairs and floor between sittings!

My husband had the chair but I had to watch Eurovision propped up on the bed. It's a double room so would be good if there were 2 chairs. A small table would also be a good addition so that I didn't need to put the menu on the fire grate.

Beautiful room, really comfortable bed too. Shower was good.

It's a pity they didn't do breakfast.

Closeness to alton

Very last minute problem with my room I booked 2 weeks in advance. Relocated to B&B down the road which was not ideal. Had planned for 2 weeks to spend day/night at alton after dark come back to the inn for some beer and a meal. Ended up a few miles away with none of this in what is essentially a bedroom in a bungalow. Personally wont risk booking again as I travelled 3+ hours and all this change was totally unexpected. Eneded up just going to bed after alton quite disappointed. Awakened very early around 5.30am by another guest in this house we got sent to being very loud all morning.
