Amazing location, short walk from Scafell Pike route, and others. Nice full English breakfast. Sell selection of wines / beers. Cosy fireplace area to chill with games / books. Lovely people. Lovely friendly dog.

Double bed very narrow makes for uncomfortable night if 2 people.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful place. It is very peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by amazing views. The atmosphere is truly relaxing, and we really enjoyed every moment here. The weather was a little changeable, but it did not stop us from enjoying this lovely place. We had a great time and would definitely love to come back again in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!☺️

Exceptional position right among the Fells Kind and personal welcome from Georgina with clear explanations of facilities Licensed to sell Beer etc Comfortable, clean room with Bathroom just across the corridor. Great breakfast. Just a short stroll to the renowned Wasdale Head Inn for meals etc

Burnthwaite B&B is beautifully situated in the countryside near Wast Water lake, making it the perfect base for climbing Scafell Pike. The comfort, location, and facilities were all excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout my stay. The peaceful setting is ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of village or city life, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel completely welcome and at home, and it was lovely chatting with the other guests over breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful homemade touch that made it feel extra special. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Burnthwaite B&B to anyone visiting the area.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like!
