Beautiful lodge. Well decorated and accommodated

Minor things really but just would have liked to use the dishwasher but no salt or rinse aid available and also no large bin bags to fit the main bin.

Would of liked abit Stronger WiFi

We really liked that the lodge (caravan) was quite spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, which was very convenient. Another big plus was that the hot tub was already prepared and nicely hot when we arrived, which made the check-in experience very enjoyable.

The cleanliness could definitely be improved. It wasn’t extremely dirty, but it also wasn’t properly clean. Glasses, cutlery, and some kitchen items were dirty and had to be washed again before use. The Wi-Fi was also very poor — the router was practically not working, so it felt pointless having it there at all. There were also signs of general wear and tear around the property. The flooring seemed to be coming apart in places, the bath plug was damaged, and there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the pipes in one of the bathrooms. One of the lower drawers was broken, which showed that some of the furniture is starting to deteriorate. The fridge was also in poor condition, as the veneer was peeling off the surface. Outside, both ashtrays were completely full of cigarette butts, which was not a pleasant sight, especially for non-smokers. We also felt that some costs were not clearly or fairly communicated upfront. For example, the pet fee was only disclosed after booking (£35 per dog). Additionally, entertainment passes were presented as something that could be purchased for around £90, even though these are included when booking directly through the caravan park or providers such as Away Resorts. This felt like an unnecessary extra charge rather than a transparent pricing system. Another issue was the messaging during our stay. We received a message asking us to empty the dishwasher before check-out. While we understand basic house rules, it would make more sense for this to be clearly stated at the beginning of the stay or included in the property information, rather than being sent during the holiday or as a last-minute reminder. It would also be more reasonable if, when guests run the dishwasher at the end of their stay, the cleaning team simply empties it if needed. The property is just beautiful! So relaxing, clean and comfortable.

No issue with the property Attal! The only issue we had was finding it 🤣 I didn’t receive a message until very last minute with the name of the plot. We did ask for help on arrival but then couldn’t do much without the plot number. So we drove around quite abit before we found it. However as soon as we saw how clean and beautiful the place was it instantly took the stress away! We would definitely stay again!

It was in a lovely location (even the bird scarer didn’t bother us) The lodge gave us the wow factor as we walked in. It has everything you need and more.

The only suggestion I’d give is a welcome pack to tell people how to use things, a map of park, bin locations, useful numbers and maybe some takeaway menus.

Nice lodge, bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great...bath is really nice and relaxing.. Hot tubs was great but could do with something at the front to make it private otherwise people walking past or in the next lodge can see straight in.
