the room was large, we had two large beds and a huge window overlooking the river. air conditioning and an additional fan were in the room, hot shower. on site possibility to do laundry at an affordable price, ready the same day. on site available safe parking for a scooter inside the facility. quick contact with the owner via whatsapp available

I like the hospitality of the staff. They are very prompt with our questions. They also gave good advice about how to go around Caao Bang. They even helped us book tickets back to Hanoi. The location of the homestay is great too. It is next to the suspension bridge where you can access almost everything such as the bus stop and supermarket.

Amazing value for money! The beds are bigger and super comfy and it is located close to town. You can WhatsApp the owner any time and she is super responsive to questions. The lady at reception is lovely. There is a water refill station which is a big plus in our books (reducing single use plastic, yay!) We had a balcony overlooking the street which was a nice place for a cuppa and to people watch. Kettle in the room and a decent shower with hot water.

It is a little bit noisy, either you're facing the street so have people noise, or facing the river so have noise of bikes driving over the rickety suspension bridge. This does quieten down at night.

The rooms are spacious, clean, cozy, and well-equipped – a perfect place to relax. The staff was amazing, especially the young woman at the reception who was always smiling and ready to help with anything I needed. From the very beginning, the manager made sure everything was taken care of: She sent me detailed directions before I arrived, connected me with a local travel agent for tours in the area, and even arranged for a staff member to escort me to the bus station when I left. A place full of heart, warm hospitality, and genuine care – it truly felt like home on the other side of the world. Highly recommended!

Location and the host were great.

They painted toilets in the building with some paint that stank so hard we felt dizzy. Our room didn’t have windows, so we slept with doors open to the hall. We got bitten by so many mosquitoes during this night.

Perfect, very spacious, clean and comfortable with one wall all glass and a view of the river. Staff very attentive and helpful. Recommend very highly, would definitely stay again.
