DH Homestay Cao Bằng

Large room with lots of windows overlooking the river. A little bit loud due to motorbike traffic crossing the metal bridge nearby, but it didn’t bother our sleep. Convenient walk to the center of town and to the bus stop to get up to the waterfall (Cross the metal bridge, then take local bus #7 on the opposite side of the road (bus will be coming from the south, was 85k/P)). Bed was comfortable & had an extra comforter for our bed since it was cold and damp outside. The host was helpful, even though his English was limited. Shower was one of the best we experienced in Vietnam (plenty hot and good pressure).

It was clean, room is small and washroom even smaller but worth of what you pay. The stay is pretty cheap so according to that, it was a decent stay. Location was good. Host was nice and helpful. She will you arranging transportation etc.

Door is not sound proof so you can hear the comings and goings from the main door as we stayed on the ground floor.

About as good as it gets in Cao bang. Close to town and 2 minutes walk to a local bus to the waterfalls. They rented me a great scooter for a good price and didn’t try to rip me off bringing it back. Also got me a great bus to Halong after and even waited half an hour for it it to arrive to get me on it safely.

Look carefully at the pictures as some rooms don’t have windows.

- In one room AC didn’t work - Quite some noice from either traffic from street or bridge - weird bathroom - not very clean

The staff lady is really nice, you can rent a motorbike and limusines with her. We did our laundry there, and the clothes came up perfect. The room had a hair dryer. The location is good. Everything was clean.
