The accommodation was close to the center, the bus and train station. Also to the market, various restaurants and many other businesses. Barbara was very communicative and accommodating. She was very helpful. The rooms were clean. The breakfasts were varied. There was an electric kettle and air conditioning in the bedroom. Also we could use a refrigerator. I absolutely recommend this accommodation.

The neighborhood was quite busy. Except on Sunday, there are markets under the windows on the street, which are noisy.

Outstanding b and b and host. The location couldn't be better. No more than ten minutes walk to all the main sights. What reallly makes this so special though is the host Barbara. From the moment of arrival Barbara goes out of her way to explain everything and is determined to make sure you have a great time. She will on arrival give you a what's app message with all the travel details, sights etc. Included in the what's app message will be all of the best places to eat. What we loved about that is Barbara selects a range of restaurants to include all the traditional sicilian and foods. Barbara selects restuarnts which are extremely high quality but so affordable !!!!. We stuck to this list and it was absolutely incredible !!!!!!. The rooms themselves are fantastic with everything you need. Breakfast is made to order and if there is a particular pastry or something you want to try Barbara will ensure it's on the table next morning ! Barbara also does hikes to Mount Etna. I would strongly recommend you go with Barbara and not one of the tour companies who will simply take you to the main tourist spot. She will ensure your maximum comfort also by making sure you have all the correct equipment and go at an appropriate time for the weather. It can get extremely hot in catania during summer. This is probably the best place I have ever stayed and I've travelled to 55 countries and hundreds of locations. If you are reading this Barbara thank you so much for ensuring we had an incredible holiday. Your only negative might be securing a booking as I'd imagine Barbara will hsvd lots of bookings Thank u so much Nigel and Mae xxxx

Barbara is a fantastic host. She is extremely helpful. Her breakfasts are very tasty, her advice and recommendations are priceless. Wherever she tells you to go, just go and you won't regret it. You can count on her in every single situation. She is truly an amazing person and the flat she rents is the best in Catania!

Early morning noise from the setting up of the local market

The location is great - walking distance to all of central Catania. Every morning there is a street market selling clothes and knicknacks at amazing prices. For breakfast there are superb jam filled croissants as well as cereals, etc. Barbara makes eggs by order: her cheese omelets were perfect. She also suggests what to see and do.
