We loved how friendly the staff was & Loved the pool area. Staff very helpful. Great pool & Sunbathing chairs. Property right on the beach.

Pefect location and great stafff

The food was the best of all. As a family, taking the all inclusive was the best thing ever! There was lots of food and fruits to choose from. There was a all White welcome dinner around the pool. I loved it. AC in all rooms are sleeping a dream! The water in the showers was not salty as in other hotels. We loved. Big thanks to the Kitchen Chefs!

I wish the cocktail juices were from fresh fruits and not just store bought juices. There was just to much sugar/sirup in the juices.

The staff were fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The food was awesome and there was lots of variety. The room was very clean

The mattress on the bed might need occasional turning as it sunk in the middle. An extra towel rail to dry bath towels in the bathroom would be nice.

All the rooms faced the garden and the pool, but ours was very close to the restaurant. It was a good size and clean.

Unfortunately the beach was not very good and not the type of white sandy beach expected in Zanzibar. There was limited choice for a restaurant and therefore had to stay at the hotel to eat dinner. The dinner was a buffet at $20 per head and there was no other choice available.

La cordialità dello staff: erano sempre tutti super gentili e per il compleanno del mio compagno io avevo solo chiesto una torta su cui far spegnere le candeline, invece gli hanno preparato anche una scritta in camera con candele e petali. In più l’ultima sera ci hanno regalato una bottiglia di vino. La tranquillità: a differenza di altre zone dell’isola, Uroa è tranquilla e il villaggio ha una posizione tale che è un’oasi di calma. Inoltre, mi è piaciuto che ogni sera venissero in camera ad aprire le zanzariere del letto e a spruzzare uno spray anti-zanzare, segno di grande attenzione sulla questione. La struttura in sé è davvero molto bella e le camere sono ampie. Bonus: C’È IL BIDET.

Le pulizie all’inizio mi sembravano molto approfondite in camera, invece poi un giorno ho notato che la sabbia che c’era sul lavandino prima delle pulizie, era ancora lì dopo che la camera era stata rifatta ma nel complesso sono piccolezze, nulla di grave o che non mi farebbe scegliere di nuovo Filao se dovessi tornare a Zanzibar. Quello che invece forse è il vero tasto dolente è il cibo: per quanto ogni giorno si facciano cene a tema e il pranzo sia quasi sempre a buffet, spesse volte ho fatto un po’ di fatica a trovare qualcosa che mi piacesse. È tutto un po’ insapore o speziato in un modo che a me personalmente non piace.
