Very homely. The owners were super friendly. The room and kitchenette are spacious, everything you need is there. Interesting self-made furniture, lighting and interior elements. The location is almost on the beach, approx. 90 meters. Plage de la Perle is a pearl, one of the best and most beautiful beaches on the island. Quite big waves most of the time, which makes swimming even more interesting. And fantastic sunsets! I think you will struggle to find anywhere better.

Great to stay just a short distance from the beach. Just off the main N2 so it was easy getting to other areas. La Perle beach is beautiful with several bars and restaurants. The apartment we booked had a private terrace/garden also shared areas to sit outside. Owners live on site and provided us with breakfast each morning for €9 each (order the day before). Comfortable bed and a large shower.

the location is unbeatable, steps from a quiet beautiful beach. the property itself was simple quiet and clean, with lovely hosts. perfect!

The beach was very close with pleasant cafes and good sand;but rough sea and not good for snorkelling.

Short walk to beach, lovely room and courtyard. It was difficult to find parking during the day, but we moved our car closer to hotel in the evening.

The owner was nice and helpful. I wish they offered just an option for coffee in the morning rather than ordering breakfast.

we had a very nice room with a small, quiet and very efficient AC unit. the host was very nice and spoke English very well (our French is a bit rusty). He offered to serve breakfast (you need to order a day in advance) which included excellent coffee, fresh croissants and baguette, two different types of jelly, joghurt and fresh fruit). It's a 2 minute walk to the beach (Plage de la Perle), so we enjoyed going swimming before breakfast! There are a few little restaurants within walking distance. It's a very good location if you want to explore the Death in Paradise filming location in/around Deshaies.

It's a bit hard to find. The name (Gites Rose de Vent) is written on the wall under the second floor patio and not visible from the street when the gate is closed. We asked one of the waitresses at the beach and she pointed out the house.

Great location, great room size and amenities, beautiful terrace. Staff is adorable and responsive.
