Location was excellent, very clean, and spacious.

Really need to have more chairs, family of 8 and only 3 chairs at a 6 person dining table. Also need more pots and pans, no large skillet only 2 4 inch skillets.

Pretty house nice location. But the people renting it out are scammers. They fee you for everything and don’t let you know till two days before you are going then it’s too late to cancel Customer service stinks.

People who rents the place out stinks. They surprise you with fees two days before stay. There were roaches in house. And the fire place did not work in middle of winter.

There are too many stairs. There is no alternative to get into the house for people with disabilities, surgery, or seniors. The beds are not comfortable. Water pressure in the showers is too low. The bottom step outside is loose, and I fell.

Property was as expected with the exception of the items listed below.

We did not get notified we would be charged an additional $150 pet fee until the night before we arrived, they claimed they just noticed we had checked we were bringing pets when reservations were made a week in advance. We explained that it lt was rude not to charge us when we paid a week prior. They would not give us the door code until we paid the $150 pet cleaning fee and we had already paid $175 cleaning fee which is a lot for 2 ladies. We could not get local channels on the tv, the fireplace would not worked. We reached out to them 4-6 times by text and email. They never would respond, very tacky. They should reimburse us some money because no working tv or fireplace in the great room. The entire booking .com site is a nightmare, I do not recommend them nor James Stevens or JF Stevens Reality. He claimed to be the owner of the property. There was no way to reach anyone, they wouldn’t respond to text, emails or answer their phone. No customer service. Only 1 entrance no escape route in the event of a fire. The basement door was locked with a code. The back door could be open but you would have to jump off a high balcony in the event of an emergency and could break your back or legs. There were no lights going down the steps, a an accident waiting to happen. Not only did I have to enter my credit card once it required it 3 times, it required a picture of my drivers license, a selfie and a bio, if you didn’t it wouldn’t go to go the next steps to lease the house. We were very, very disappointed with the rental process and no directions on how to operate the tv or fireplace. Also no map showing exit routes in the event of an emergency.

Place sleeps up to nine but does not have enough silverware or large plates. There were eight of us six people eat and then we had to wash silverware for the other two to eat until we bought plastic silverware.
