Un lieu peu accueillant, sans moyen de communication à notre arrivée : nous avons dû patienter dehors, dans l’obscurité. L’endroit était assez sale, avec un manque évident d’hygiène dans la salle de bain partagée. Nous avons malheureusement suspecté la présence de punaises de lit, et le matelas présentait un trou, ce qui ne permettait pas de passer une nuit sereine.

Very friendly host, who speaks perfect German and English. Clean, big, cozy room, big terrace, right next to the trainstation, easy to find. Walk out of the station, turn left, take the first little lane down south. 5 minutes walk. It's the house at the corner, before the bridge and the restaurant. Tell them your time of arrival, knock strongly, wait à moment, as the lady is elderly. I recommend this place very much, I stayed there last year also. There is a hot water boiler with coffee and sugar upstairs near the rooms/terrace. The lady offered me greek coffee in her living room, very nice ! Thanks very much ! Efcharisto poli !

The host met us personally to guide us, as it was dark. Tip: When you come from airport on bus, just cross the big street to the other side. If you come on the metro, go upstairs and cross the big street to the other side. The walkway is directly across from that Pallini stop. It is truly so easy. Once on the walkway/pathway, go straight for 5 minutes, and his house is on the right. He left a sign out for us, but he ended up just meeting us (we shared live locations). He was so gracious, as we finally got there at midnight. Thank you, Christian! He provided us with snacks, bottles of fresh, cold water, there is internet, and the bed was super comfortable. Very nice people.

The only difficult thing was the cigarette smoke, as my husband's lungs weren't doing ok. Maybe we caught a little cold, but it was kind of hard to breathe, but only initially. There were super nice, big fans and open doors with fresh air, so it was actually fine.
