Charming Seaside Cottage in Leigh-on-Sea

Very spacious light and homely. Quiet setting Comfortable beds. Ample parking Amazing location minutes from Leigh Broadway Nice little touch with individual shower gel and shampoo provided. Fan provided.

Beds were uncomfortable were the sofas - Jay needs a bit of tlc

The great location and the uniqueness of the property. Nice to have outdoor space.

Although the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean the kitchen and living area felt a little grimy.

Property size and location was perfect, unfortunately to my disappointment the property was not clean, fridge had a puddle of water on one of the shelves, and left over open bottle of milk, freezer had a pizza and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. There were obvious food splatter marks on the wall next to the fridge, no bin bag in the kitchen bin. I put the towel on the radiator and so much dust in the gaps. Disgusting and shocking. No toiletries or hairdryer as mentioned under property facilities. When travelling especially with children. I try to travel light so unfortunately I didn’t take my hairdryer and toiletries. Plenty of shops nearby to buy but I don’t like to spend time in shops when there for a short time, beds and pillows were uncomfortable, myself & children didn’t sleep well. Sent a msg to the owner on the mobile no. provided about the hairdryer, and updated them of our arrival and leaving. No reply. Have family in Leigh on Sea and would have stayed here again but after this I don’t think I will book this property again, putting everything aside we come for a rest and break and a good nights sleep is important to us.

Excellently located to the amenities and 5 mins from seafront (downhill).Charming period building but a little tired in places-but clean. Communication. Efficient

Comfort of sofas and beds could be a little better. Front door tricky to open. Taps awkward

It was very homey.

Lightings outside from entrance very poor. Had to use my phone to be as a touch. Fox waste product also at the entrance Shower water was also very hot. Tried turning down but remained hot.
