Down stairs shower didn’t work

The house was in a nice central location and was lovely and clean. The area was nice and a short walk to the centre with places to eat etc. The train station is about 10 mins away with easy access into London. The only thing I woukd say is that We just struggled slightly relaxing in the evening as not enough comfy chairs for 8. If there was another comfortable sofa or chairs I would have scored it 10.

No towels for showering. Would have been good to know this in advance as no one brought a towel with them as you expect these to be provided when paying over £250 per night. Hob wasn’t working, but we used the microwave for our scrambled eggs instead.

Excellent location, close to all the great shops, cafés and restaurants in the Broadway, and only a 10min walk from the rail station. The seafront and Old Leigh are also very close by. The rooms are bright and full of light, the back yard is perfect for breakfast in the morning and to have off street parking in Leigh on Sea is a godsend! Honestly can't fault it and our 3 young adult children loved it too 😊

There was nothing to dislike at all, especially bearing in mind the excellent value for money. If I could change anything it would be to have bigger en suite bathroom, but it just isn't possible in such a period property.

Nice clean cottage, very nice quiet area.
