"Perfection in Sassi!"

A beautiful property in a gorgeous Sassi location. Our cave room was lovely, bright, clean and well equipped. The [comfort zone] products in the bath made the stay Spa Like. We had a delightful view from our room and the property gardens encouraged you to sit and contemplate the uniqueness that is Matera. Breakfast was served either in a cave, in tables in the gardens or at a table right by our door, weather permitting, and it was complete with all you could desire and excellent coffee. Everything was perfect!

Nothing needs to be changed.

"The only place to stay in Matera - perfect location, best views, no crowds, beautiful room"

La Corte dei Pastori is the only place to stay in Matera. Our room was amazing - a true cave room under the rupestrian church of Santa Maria de Idris. The location is stunning - breakfast overlooking the Sassi, and at night it's even better. The Giordano family are the most welcoming and friendly hosts, the included breakfasts were huge and delicious, and if you drive to Matera, the Linea Sassi bus stop is right at the door (only a 10min ride to the parking station - beats walking back up the hill!).

Truly can't fault this place. Just perfect in every way.

"Perfect Sassi caveoso experience."

Matera is an amazing place and so is this accommodation. The room is comfortable and has an incredible view. The hosts are lovely. The breakfast is perfect. We loved everything about this stay. Thank you.

"Magische locatie met geweldig uitzicht"

Geweldige locatie, midden in het historisch centrum. Hele goede gastheren. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en werd geserveerd op ons terras met uitzicht op de oude stad.

Het ontbijt werd geserveerd tussen 8.30u en 9.45u. Aangezien onze kinderen al erg vroeg wakker waren, was het fijn geweest als het ontbijt al wat eerder kon. Maar we hebben heerlijk een kop thee gedronken met uitzicht.

"Petit nid au cœur des Sassis"

Tout était parfait ! L’accueil de nos hôtes qui nous ont gentiment attendus jusque 21:30… L’emplacement est idéal avec une vue extraordinaire. Le petit déjeuner est très complet. La chambre était très spacieuse et très propre. Toutes les instructions concernant le parking hors des Sassis est vraiment très approprié. Je recommande !
