The Old Woollen Mill

Easy to find location and right in the middle of Tavistock - convenient to everything. Large rooms, very comfortable beds. Great restoration of an old mill using 3 floors (if you don't mind steps - we didn't because the views over Tavistock were fantastic). Great communication with hosts.

Bathroom was lovely but could benefit from an exhaust fan.

Open plan. Kitchen well equipped. Nice touch with wine and biscuits.

Not at all suitable for anyone with any mobility issues. Stairs are very difficult and lots of them. Bed in main bedroom comfortable but very low. Would have appreciated being informed of issues in description of property before booking. No lock on bathroom door.

Comfortable and roomy with a nice homely feel. Property was very well appointed with everything you needed to make it an enjoyable stay

Poor shower. Very little pressure of water and heat of water very erratic which could easily cause harm. Kept changing from cold to very hot. Central heating did not appear to work properly although that may have been us not fully understanding instructions ! Ground level by entry door smelt a bit musty and damp appeared to be in wall at bottom of stairs. Entry from street not the most attractive.

The stairs were a bit of a challenge very good most enjoyable very relaxing
