Trulli&Dimore - Palazzo Maris

Beautiful building, just perfect.

On Booking.com it says that all the 3 appartments has a roof top terasse - but it did not say that it was a shared terasse - and that we had to walk 3 stores up to get there. We complained about this but did not get an answer that made sense. Another thing was that we got spammed with emails about electronic check in, electronic payment of citytax, wine tasting etc. - its like they dont realize that you are on vacation and just has the time for all this.

Stayed for 4 nights! Excellent location within the old town and on the harbour. Newley renovated and excellently maintained! Looks exactly as in the pictures. Has everything you need for your trip. Definitely will be back!

Everything, but especially the terrace on the roof, the best view in the city!

The apartment has a lot of potential to become a 10/10 and is super stylish with a very comfortable bed. It's nice to have the kitchen tools included when you want to cook at home. The staff were very nice and allowed me to have a late check out. They replied very fast when I had an issue.

As said, they have space for a lot of growth. But being super new, where I felt like the first person to stay there, was also a problem for me. There was no seating area in both the terrace nor the balcony. As a tourist coming from a colder country, I specifically book all places in Italy with either a balcony or terrace in order to be able to enjoy the sun as much as possible, even when in meetings at home or just want some privacy to enjoy rather than on a beach. So, for such a beautiful terrace, to not have a single furniture made it very useless. Good views to enjoy for 1min but felt very uninviting. Furthermore, the jacuzzi could be great when working as it should, not leaking, and when it filled up entirely so it could be of use. Sometimes when it did luckily fill up, it took so long that the water got cold so not fun to sit in. Leaking kitchen sink and toilet paper offered for less time than you stay and have to buy more myself. I made two separate reservations, but no one offered to clean in between my 6 nights stay. Very disappointed as a company as theirs promises you comfort and the dream in Italy, but in the end, it ended up being like any other apartment in Italy, but with no access to enjoy the outside. Furthermore, when a guest shares their issues with you, please don't start blaming the guest for not saying anything sooner. Instead, take it in and do better for the next person. To try and make.it up to me, you gave me a small discount to book with your company directly on your website only, but a discount which meant nothing to me as I get the same room offered, but cheaper with booking.com directly than with your website and discount amount. So, to me, it really didn't do any good. I feel like I overpaid for a place much more expensive than other places around the area, but offered less than some of them. So, as a guest, I was very disappointed at what I got but also the reaction I received after being honest with you about these issues.
