Old San Juan Sunset Heaven

Great location, easy access to all areas of Old Sa Juan. A/C was perfect, lots of towels!

Struggled a bit with plumbing but it is an Old building and Old infrastructure. Nothing insurmountable.

El lavamanos no tenia agua y eso es muy incomodo. El dia siguiente de nuestra llegada todo San Juan estuvo sin electricidad, lo habian anunciado de previo y nosotras no fuimos prevenidas. El lugar es sumamente ruidoso, hay en el mismo piso un apartamento que se alquila tambien en airbnb y los inquilinos que fueron dos grupos distintos no tuvieron ninguna consideración, asi que el ruido fue muchisimo dificultando dormir

The location was good. And the apartment was clean and quiet.

This apartment is the most untruthfully advertised accommodation we've ever booked on booking.com. Please read on. Firstly, there is no sun terrace, no balcony, no garden view, and no "breathtaking sunset views", as advertised -- Only views down a deep, ugly interior building shaft created to provide daylight and ventilation. Although the flat is advertised as being "entirely on the ground floor" (with a handicap accessible symbol), it is actually located two stories above the ground, meaning that guests must lug their luggage UP 42 STEPS, because there is no lift or any staff assistance.. The very first step, up from the sidewalk, was about 12 inches high. There is no outdoor dining area, patio, or outdoor furniture, as advertised. Although it is advertised as being "only steps from the ocean", it is actually about 800 feet from the nearest ocean water, which is located down a very steep slope on the northern side of Old San Juan. In the other direction it is about 1/4-mile from the cruise ship docks. The kitchen table was tiny and had ONLY ONE CHAIR! The refrigerator had no ice cube trays to make ice for cold drinks. The coffee-maker did not work, and the bulb in the electric light in the kitchen area was burned out -- and is not easily replaced because it is not the usual screw-in type. The ceiling fan did not work due to a faulty switch, and the hair conditioner dispenser in the bathroom was also broken. Lastly, there was no bathtub as advertised, only a shower. I hope that booking.com ensures that the very inaccurate and misleading description of this flat is fully corrected before many more people book it, assuming that the ad is truthful.

Die Location war sehr gut und die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage und im Wohnzimmer einen Ventilator. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet für einfache Mahlzeiten.

Die Dusche war nicht so schön, aber es war recht sauber.

It was in a great part of Old San Juan. Clean and peaceful. Everything in walking distance.

I loved the rustic style of the place.

The location

They falsely advertised their facilities such as dishwasher, computer, minibar, ocean view and sunset. But they weren’t there. For one night the electricity went away and it was a total blackout while the other buildings had backup generators. It was a bit disappointing for the money we paid.
