Tree Hotel at Iffley

The room was small but neat. It had a really nice bathroom. Just what I needed for a short stay.

I couldn't figure out how to get the shower to work, the controls didn't work the same as other hotel showers I've seen.

Not a thing

The room was almost as cold as outside and nothing like the picture of the room I booked. The staff were ambivalent, after finally acknowledging me they found a key and simply pointed up stairs with a brief summary of which way to go. It was ramshackle with building works, material & tools propped up next to the tiny room. With the square metre-age being mostly bathroom & closet. The wall heaters needed bled, the tiny storage heater, full bast only manage to keep the room slightly above freezing & one of the towels was simply scrunched behind a heater. Worked late, at work at dawn & needed sleep… but there….I woke every few hours from cold. It was a terrible place.

Le prix des chambres, très raisonnable.

Les bruits du chauffage pendant toute la nuit. L’hôtel a besoin d’un grand coup de neuf car montre de gros signes de vieillissement

Frukosten var kvalitativ och bra. Detta är ett familjehotell, ingen stor och bred buffet. Rummen och byggnaden är sliten, anpassa förväntningarna enligt det. Badrummet var stort och rent, men behöver renoveras. Bra med parkering, lugnt läge. Tips: Det finns en trevlig pub i närheten.

Svagt tryck i duschen, men det kunde vi vänta oss.
