Private Flat in City Centre with Parking

no coffee machine!!!

There's a bass guitar hanging on the bedroom wall! How brilliantly rock & roll was that? I used to play bass in a band when I was young, but don't have one any more, so it was fun to have a twang. I treated it with the greatest care and reverence. Full working Smart TV, also brilliant. Watched a bit of Netflix and Youtube, which was nice.

The front door has the weirdest lock and handle arrangement. You work out how to open it eventually, and how to lock it after a few attempts, but it's a bit like doing a logic puzzle to work out at first.

Place was lovely, even milk in the fridge!

Parking was a nightmare - we have 7 seater and had to pull both wing mirrors in to get up the drive to the back of the property and that was after having to move wheelie bins out of the way and negiotate 2 vans parked either side of the drive. Then a car parked opposite so we were stuck there until one of the vans moved.....

Comfortable bedroom

Water pressure in the shower was low

Great Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

Seemed to need a good cleaning. The towels were old and thin, the shower curtain needs replacing; couldn’t find how to turn the heat on downstairs and it was quite cold in the morning.

Good size apartment, good range of facilities

Very clean.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Flat was advertised with parking yet it was only possible to fit a very small car down the access path to the space - ended up parking car on street. Neighbours were partying until around 1am. Shower did not stay consistently hot. Phone would not connect to wifi. Slight smell of damp.

It felt cosy and very welcoming!
